Voici une version préliminaire de la traduction "A HISTORY OF THE DIOCESE OF SAULT STE. MARIE," écrit durant les années de 2002 et 2003 par Graeme S. Mont et traduit par Jean et Françoise Arbuckle la date d'échéance du 30 Juin 2003. Plutard, Mgr Jean-Louis Plouffe a surprit tous présent durant la réunion de célébration avec l'annonce qu'il n'approuvait plus le manuscrit. Signe, l'éditeur basé à Strasbourg, avait les droits exclusifs sur le manuscrit pour dix ans, et durant ce temps, la version finale de la traduction française avait disparu. Plus tard, comme les Arbuckles s'apprétaient à se déplacer de Sudbury à Guelph, ils ont découvert des pages du manuscrit qu'ils ont ensuite mis disponible. The following month, Bishop Jean-Louis Plouffe shocked the celebratory meeting with the announcement that he did not approve of the manuscript after all. Signe, the Strasbourg-based publisher, had exclusive rights to the manuscript for ten years, and during that time, the final version of the French-language translation disappeared. Later, as the Arbuckles prepared to move from Sudbury to Guelph, they discovered pages of the manuscript, which they then made available and which are replicated here.
