This essay will demonstrate the impact of the Hall-Dennis report on Ernie Chcekeris' life in order to understand how he shaped the themes of multiculturalism, Indigenous rights and French-language schooling as they came to fruition in Ontario’s education system. This paper will not assess the impact of the Hall-Dennis Report on the education system but rather explain how the Report was influenced by Checkeris and how his experiences on the Committee would reappear in other areas of his professional life. The first line of the Hall-Dennis Report explained that “the underlying aim of education is to further man’s unending search for truth. Once he possesses the means to truth, all else is within his grasp.en_US
